The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill on Amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements to strengthen Responsibility for violating the Laws on Protection of Restricted Data owned by the State

The bill (Reg. No. 8490), submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers, strengthens responsibility for violating the laws on state secret and the procedure of registration, storage and use of documents and other information carriers which include the restricted data owned by the state. The bill increases the rates of fines fixed by clauses 212-2 and 212-5 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements by 10-20 times.
